Pale gold. Intense flinty, lemon curd, white apricot and tonic water aromas with underlying vanilla grilled nut notes. Crisp yet creamy with supple lemon curd, grapefruit and stonefruit flavours, fine chalky textures, beautiful mid-palate viscosity and underlying flinty complexity. Finishes chalky/minerally with plentiful nectarine notes. A classic pure-fruited chardonnay with superb richness and precision. Delicious drinking; should develop even more interest with bottle age.

Pale gold. Intense green apple, marzipan and lemon curd aromas with flinty camomile notes. Fresh lemon curd, white apricot, bitter lemon flavours, fine lacy/al dente textures and long bright acidity. Finishes crunchy with lemony citrus notes. Minimalist in structure.
Coal Valley and Derwent Valley, Tasmania and Adelaide Hills, South Australia. 62 percent new and 38 percent one-year-old French oak barriques.
Expressive, with elderflower, musky notes and creamy, almost syrupy consistency. Noticeable phenolics and linear freshness give energy and length. (NB)

Pale gold. Lemon curd with a touch of mandarin, melon and grapefruit aromas with herb garden camomile notes. Well-concentrated and fine boned with a lovely core of lemon curd, grapefruit, and white peach flavours. Fine loose-knit/ al dente textures and long fresh acidity. Chalky-textured finish.

Such a beautifully detailed wine; hard to go by this without noticing its great distinction and pedigree. (JH)

A richly expressive wine with grapefruit, lemon curd, flinty, quartz-like flavours, fine bitter lemon notes, fine lacy dry textures, attractive creamy mid-palate and linear acidity. A classic long-lived Yattarna that delivers complexity with grace.

Pure citrus tangerine fruits, pliant textures and vibrant minerality, together with superb clarity verve and cut. (JR)

Arguably on par with the
exceptional 2012 and 2017 vintages of
Yattarna the 2018 release certainly has the potential
