Medium-deep crimson. Attractive redcurrant, raspberry and plum fruits with herb garden, chinotto and roasted walnut notes. A generous and fleshy wine with redcurrant and cranberry fruits, supple sweet tannins and attractive mid-palate density. Finishes firm and minerally.

83 percent shiraz and 17 percent mataro.

A round, fleshy wine with creamy fruit and velvety tannins. (JR)

A well-developed wine with mulberry, red cherry and dark chocolate aromas and flavours and fine chocolaty/pippy tannins. Always a medium-term prospect.

82 percent shiraz and 18 percent mataro.

2016 ««««« Drink now to 2028.

Medium-deep crimson. Intense blackberry and mulberry fruits with roasted nut, praline and dark earth notes. Inky and creamy with deep-set blackberry, mulberry and raspberry fruits, fine chalky tannins, attractive mid-palate viscosity and woody spice complexity. Finishes firm and tight.

85 percent shiraz and 15 percent mataro.

Expressive, fragrant and polished with generous blueberry fruits. A top vintage. (JH)

Still showing youthful blackberry, blueberry fruit, mocha, roasted walnut and chinotto notes, and plentiful fine tannins. A classic medium-powered Claret style.

81 percent shiraz and 19 percent mataro.

2018 «««« Drink 2022 to 2030.

Medium-deep crimson. Elemental elderberry, blackberry and raspberry aromas with herb garden, violet and white pepper notes. A boisterous wine with plentiful red and dark berry fruits, fine, vigorous and slightly al dente peppery tannins and plenty of mid-palate richness. Finishes chalky firm.

81 percent shiraz and 19 percent mataro.

Such a baby with vibrant bouncy jujube (Chinese date) fruit. Incredibly youthful and full of juiciness with coating tannins and spice on the finish indicating promising aging potential. (FW)
