COMMENTS
Multi-regional blends followed by single-region and single-vineyard wines are the mainstay of the Penfolds House Style. When Bin 150 was released it offered a fourth approach where sub-regional characteristics derived from the geology and micro-climate of the Marananga sub-region of the Barossa Valley underpin the style.
A definitive Penfolds style based on Grange-quality vineyards and central Barossa terroir. The purity of fruit, tannic seam and sympathetic maturation all
deliver a strong individual identity. PETER GAGO,
Chief Winemaker
