ORIGIN
South Australian multi-regional and multi-district blend: primarily Padthaway, Coonawarra, Robe, Wrattonbully, McLaren Vale and Barossa Valley.
FERMENTATION
Stainless steel fermenters with header boards. Some components complete fermentation in barrel.
MATURATION
12 months in new French and American (approximately 30 percent) oak. Also, some one- and two-year-old hogsheads some of which were used for previous vintages of Bin 707.
COMMENTS
From 2004 bottled under screwcap. Still available under cork in specific markets.
Immediately cabernet. Immediately Penfolds. Referenced to Bin 707, but an independent
