ORIGIN
Multi-district blend drawing fruit from Adelaide Hills (SA), Tumbarumba (NSW), Henty (VIC), and Derwent Valley, Coal Valley and Central Highlands (TAS). Source is dependent on vintage conditions.
FERMENTATION
100 percent barrel fermented in varying quantities of new and older French oak barriques, depending on vintage.
MATURATION
Around 8 to 10 months on lees; sensitive battonage to build complexity and texture.
COMMENTS
Packaged in laser-etched bottles. Released entirely under screwcap since the 2004 vintage.
The quality of Yattarna now is really thrilling.
