A velvety smooth finish with persistent and balanced acidity.
Elegant and finely grained with attractive fruit purity, vibrancy and integrated spicy oak. (NB)
So drinkable with its attractive red fruit pomegranate flavours, richness and finesse. The 2002 vintage character has seamlessly filled this wine into a bigger Penfolds style. (JH)
