Medium-deep crimson. Intense autumnal wine with fresh wood smoke, blueberry and redcurrant aromas. Developed cassis, leather, panforte flavours, cola/chinotto and tarry notes with attractive leafy complexity. Finishes chalky dry and a touch leathery but still shows buoyancy and richness.

A lovely wine at the peak of its development. (JH)

Medium-deep crimson. Complex and developed forest floor, graphite and dried rose aromas with remnant cassis notes. A supple and impeccably framed wine with rich inky cassis and leafy flavours, fine bittersweet tannins and underlying roasted walnut and chestnut notes. Finishes long, sweet and minerally.

A harmonious expressive wine with beautiful freshness, length and balance. (JH)
