Medium-deep crimson. Intense black cherry, dark plum and blackberry fruits with sappy espresso and ginger notes. A svelte wine with black cherry and dark plum fruits, roasted chestnut/walnut notes, fine bittersweet tannins and mineral length. Still elemental and a touch sappy at the finish. Give it a few years.

85 percent shiraz and 15 percent cabernet sauvignon. 17 percent new American oak and 4 percent new French oak.

Impressively balanced with plentiful black fruits, tannins, oak and acidity. Simply needs more time to develop. 10+ years. (JH)

2017 «««« Drink 2022 to 2030.

Medium-deep crimson. Exuberant and youthful with bubble gum, blackberry and cranberry fruits. Deep-set and generous blackberry, ginger and chocolate flavours, fine plentiful and savoury tannins with vanilla notes. Finishes firm and tight. Still elemental with the oak jutting out prominently but should integrate.

72 percent shiraz and 28 percent cabernet sauvignon. 10 percent new American oak.

The star of the show in this line up. Balanced and juicy with elegance and plentiful black fruits. (JH)

Seductive and animated, spicy, almost exotic fruit, sweet, spiced oak and rippling flesh. Very primary and needs to settle. (NR)

2018 ««««« Drink 2025 to 2035.

Medium-deep crimson. Expressive blackberry, elderberry and herb aromas with savoury vanilla notes. A voluminous palate with plentiful dark berry fruits, ginger and vanilla oak notes, fine-plentiful grainy tannins and mid-palate density. Finishes chocolaty firm with ginger spice notes. Very young and elemental but balanced. Should develop really well.

64 percent shiraz and 36 percent cabernet sauvignon. 11 percent new American oak and 11 percent new French oak.

An opulent nose and beautifully plush texture with plentiful dark fruits and tannin richness. (NB)

Very pure fruit expression with loads of crushed black and blue fruits and fine tannins. A very youthful exuberant wine that needs time to calm down. (FW)
