In 2023, Penfolds pledged to give away $1 million over five years through the Penfolds Evermore Grant Program. The program seeks to support bold and innovative projects that contribute to community and culture.
We hope that this initiative will have an impact around the world, with our grant program rolled out in Australia in 2024, a France program set to commence in 2025 and with more regions to come.
In the videos below, you will meet Penfolds Evermore Grant recipients and hear about their important projects - learn more about the work they do and what they hope to achieve.
Our Australia grant round ran in 2024, with four grant recipients awarded funding for their innovative projects: PlantingSeeds, Mobius Farms, A Fitting Connection, and Barossa Farmer’s Market.
BAROSSA FARMERS MARKET, SOUTH AUSTRALIA
Barossa Farmers Market was a successful recipient of the inaugural Penfolds Evermore grant program, receiving AUD$30,000 to implement a Kitchen Library at the market. Acting as a hub for community, connection, and knowledge through the provision of food preparation equipment and educational workshops, the Kitchen Library will empower the community to manage their own food security in a sustainable way.
A Fitting Connection was a successful recipient of the inaugural Penfolds Evermore grant program, receiving AUD$66,000 to acquire a FeltLOOM to transform textile waste into recycled fabrics, run workshops to empower individuals with disabilities to design new fabric, support participants with the set-up of micro businesses and collaborate with local creatives and artists to yield unique products inspired by wine culture.
Plantingseeds Projects was a successful recipient of the inaugural Penfolds Evermore grant program, receiving AUD$50,000 to deliver their B&B Highway in South Australia. A regenerative and educational community initiative focusing on bees, birds, plants and other pollinators essential for biodiversity and ecosystem health, this project will implement five hubs, and create appropriate habitats with native vegetation to help the local pollinators thrive.
Coming soon.
