NIGO, PUSHA T AND PENFOLDS CELEBRATE ONE BY PENFOLDS GLOBAL LAUNCH.
Last night, at a private party in Hong Kong, we celebrated the global launch of One by Penfolds. The launch coincided with the announcement that NIGO, the Founder of Human Made and Artistic Director of KENZO, has been named Penfolds first-ever Creative Partner.
Using his signature style, NIGO designed four animal motifs which feature on the One by Penfolds wine labels – a crocodile, rooster, panda, and bear. The designs represent the four winemaking regions where One by Penfolds wines are sourced – Australia, France, China, and America respectively.
More than 250 guests from around the world gathered at PMQ, Hong Kong, which was transformed into a playful, retro-futuristic space. Long-time friend of NIGO, producer, and globally renowned hip-hop artist Pusha T surprised guests after finishing his European tour with a special performance, with a set list including Dreamin of the Past, Mercy, and Runaway. Guests were served One by Penfolds wines from four countries, including the Australian Shiraz, Californian Red Blend, French Vin Rouge, and Chinese Red Blend, alongside food inspired by each country – bao buns, burgers, chicken parfait and prawn toast.

To coincide with the One by Penfolds launch, Penfolds announced a new initiative, ‘Penfolds Evermore’. Evermore is Penfolds commitment to making a positive contribution towards a world where future generations can thrive, and captures our aspirations as a global winemaker, employer and leader to leave a positive mark on the places, communities and people we are connected to. As part of the Evermore initiative, Penfolds will donate $1million (AUD) over five years, as part of a global grant program.
