2023 GOLDEN VINES AWARD

PENFOLDS BECOMES ONE OF THE FIRST GOLDEN VINES® ALL-STAR WINNERS

We are delighted to announce that Penfolds became one of the first Golden Vines® All-Star winners at the weekend, winning the award for Best Fine Wine Producer – Rest of the World three years in a row.

Recognised as 'The Oscars of Fine Wine', the Golden Vines Awards are determined by votes from an esteemed list of close to 1,000 fine wine professionals from 120 countries around the world, including 27 Masters of Wines, 22 Master Sommeliers, more than 180 winemakers, wine press, wine merchants and Michelin-star sommeliers.

Organised by Liquid Icons, the 2023 Golden Vines® Awards which recognise the star performers of the fine wine and spirits industries were presented during a night to remember at the beautiful Opera Garnier in Central Paris.

Our Penfolds Chief Winemaker, Peter Gago, accepted the award at the Gala Dinner in Paris and said, “It’s hard to digest – to become an All-Star Winner, having won the Award for the third time in three years. We’ll be forever grateful to be a part of this experience in the company of the World’s most esteemed wine producers and collectors.”
