No, Magill Estate Restaurant is not BYO. The restaurant does offer a wide range of wines to accompany your experience, including rare back vintages as well as current and limited releases.

There are also two wine pairing options to choose from; Icon Wine Pairing $325 pp and Sommeliers Wine Pairing $200 pp.

In 2015, it was named South Australia’s Restaurant of the Year by SA Restaurant and Catering Awards for Excellence. It also featured in Australian Financial Review’s Top 100 Restaurants.

In 2016, Magill Estate Restaurant was again named South Australia's Restaurant of the Year and was placed in the Top 100 Gourmet Traveller's Australian Restaurant Guide.

The restaurant has also been recognised for its commitment to sustainable practices, taking home the Eco Eats Award, Adelaide Dining Magazine (ADM) awards for 2025.
